Here’s why it’s a mixed review
Rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfasts were a highlight, with local Craster kippers included and other delicious options cooked perfectly.
Temperature control in the room was a challenge, and I found the thin walls allowed too much noise from neighboring rooms.

Free off-road parking, cozy guest lounge with wine facilities, fine local scenery
Room temperature management could use improvement!!! Soundproofing between rooms is inconsistent, leading to disturbances!!! Maintenance on some areas, like bathroom grout and drying issues, needs prompt attention!!!

We had a great stay, but the small room felt a bit cramped, and the air could’ve been warmer. Breakfast was heaps good though, especially the local kippers!

I really enjoyed my stay with delicious breakfasts and comfy beds that made it cozy! The lovely garden was a great spot to unwind. There were relaxing seating areas to enjoy a good book. The only downside was that check-in felt a bit utilitarian, but it didn't take away from a wonderful experience overall. 😊
